Installing a Terminal Emulator on Windows
Open Tera Term's site (https://ttssh2.osdn.jp/index.html.en) in a new tab. Find the section of the page entitled “Download”. Select the “download page”. Then select the newest version exe installer.
1.
Find the installer in the folder that it was downloaded to, double-click on it, then select Run.

Accept the agreement and then left-click Next.
3.
Select where you want Tera Term installed and then left-click Next.
4.
Select the components to be installed. For beginners select Standard Installation.
5.
Choose the desired language and then left-click Next.
6.
Select if you have a short cut in the start menu and then left-click Next.
7.
Select the desired short cuts and then left-click Next.
8.
Left-click on Install.
9.
Left-click on Finish
After going through steps 1-9 Tera Term is now installed on Windows. To use Tera Term click *Using a Terminal Emulator on Windows
